Pull a recipe out of a cooking video or article

This prompt extracts one recipe from source material such as a cooking video transcript or an article. You get a brief description of the dish, the ingredients with the original measurements, and the preparation steps as bullets. It does not invent new recipes.

Rate a research paper's rigor

This prompt scores a study from 1 to 10 for novelty, rigor, and how empirical it is, and checks for conflicts of interest. It returns short bullet lists on the findings, methods, possible bias, and whether the work could be reproduced, then a letter grade.

Read out A/B test results

This prompt reviews the numbers from a finished A/B test and says whether to ship the winning version and why. It also lists data checks to run first, risks, and a test to try next. Designing a new test is a different job.

Research and write an X thread

This prompt works in three phases. It first asks about your business, then suggests eight thread topics in a table with hooks and patterns, and finally writes the X thread you pick with an opening hook, seven or eight body posts, and a closer.

FAQ

What is an AI prompt?

A prompt is the text you give a language model so it generates a useful response — instructions, examples, constraints, and your content. Prompt engineering is the craft of writing those instructions clearly. This directory hosts ready-to-copy prompts on the page.

How do I use a prompt from this directory?

Open a prompt, copy the text, paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, or another chat, fill the placeholders, and send. No account is required on this site.

Prompt vs skill vs method?

A prompt is copyable chat text. A skill is an agent pack, often a SKILL.md folder. A method is one way to solve a use case on Can AI? — it might be a prompt, skill, agent, tool, or stack. The same prompt can appear here and as a method on a use case.

Are these prompts free to copy?

Yes. The prompt text is on the page. If we show a source credit, keep that credit. There is no paywall in front of the text.

How do prompts get listed?

Someone submits a prompt, or it arrives as part of a method on a use case. An editor publishes it. There is no paid placement.

What kinds of prompts are here?

Standalone prompts for writing, research, coding, ops, and other outcomes, tagged with the same sitewide categories as the rest of the directory so you can browse by area.
