Overview
llmbrake is a TypeScript library that wraps OpenAI-compatible chat.completions.create with per-customer monthly USD budgets. Near the cap it can auto-downgrade the model; at the cap it raises BudgetExceededError. It is not a proxy: it runs in your app with your keys and stores metadata only, never prompts or completions. Status is early 0.1.0.
