Overview

umbel lets a host agent spawn and drive Claude, Codex, Gemini or OpenCode workers in tmux from a CLI, MCP server or YAML workflow. The host gets tools such as umbel_spawn, send, wait, read and kill. One binary covers the providers so agents can run reviewers and testers in parallel.
