Overview
touri is a Mac desktop app that runs persistent AI bots, keeping everything local, on a signed-in Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode command line you already use. Each bot has separate instructions, memory, skills and a branching chat history, and can run cron-style routines, work on a local project, and use an agent browser you can take over. A gateway for MCP tools asks for approval, computer use is opt-in with an on-screen indicator and a kill switch, and bots can optionally run in isolated Linux VMs. Data stays in a local database with credentials in the Keychain, with no telemetry or account. Security note: the v0.1.0 builds are unsigned and not notarized, and the opt-in computer use and VM features give bots broad access to your Mac.
