Overview
Orkas is a free desktop app, released under MIT, for solo founders and small teams, and it works locally first. You describe the work in chat, and a lead model assigns work to specialist agents, which hand back reports, documents, slides, videos or websites as files you can keep editing. It can also run coding agents you already have installed, such as Claude Code or Codex, as local sessions. Files and API keys remain on your computer, and you can pick the managed models or plug in your own provider.
