Overview

Deputy connects coding agents like Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot and Gemini's CLI to the Chrome window you already have open. It exposes the current page to the agent as typed tools, so an agent can, for example, fill a whole form in one call. You install a Chrome extension and then add the plugin or MCP server to your agent. Because the agent acts in your logged-in browser, it can reach any site you are signed in to. Use a browser profile signed in only to the accounts you want the agent to reach. The code is source-available under the PolyForm Shield license, not open source.
