Overview
Bossanova is a Windows and macOS app from tinygem that keeps personal and business details, API keys and images such as company stamps in an encrypted vault that never leaves your computer. You can search and copy entries yourself, and you can let AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini use a value without the value being sent to the AI. When you approve the request, Bossanova makes the call or starts the program for the AI, and the AI only reads entries you have marked as not secret. A free plan covers one device, and the vault checks the license online from time to time. Its FAQ notes that it does not block access through your operating system or other tools, and a value already handed over can't be recalled.
