Overview
Backenly is an open-source (Apache 2.0) backend platform on PostgreSQL that a coding agent such as Claude Code sets up through MCP tools. After that, it keeps watching the backend and repairs problems itself when the fix is additive and can be undone from a snapshot. Anything destructive or related to sign-in is held until you approve it, whatever mode you pick. You can use the hosted service or run the whole platform on your own servers. Because it can change a live backend without asking first, try it on a test project and check its snapshots.
Key features
- Agent builds tables, functions and auth over MCP
- Self-healing loop with an undo snapshot per fix
- Risky and auth changes wait for your approval
