Overview
ai-memory is an open-source tool that gives different coding agents one shared memory. You can quit one agent mid-task and start another in the same folder, and the second one receives a handoff covering your progress, the approaches that failed and the questions still open. More than twenty agent tools feed the shared memory, and by default it makes no language-model calls of its own. It is made by akitaonrails and has a site at aimemory.sh.
Key features
- One memory shared across 20+ agent tools
- Handoff of progress, failures and open questions
- Run command that carries a session to another agent
