Overview
Agent Chrome Relay is a tool that gives coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor control of your everyday Chrome browser, including the sites where you are already logged in. Agents work in background tabs, so nothing takes focus or moves on your screen, and each agent is limited to the tabs that it created. One chrome-relay do command carries out a whole goal, such as inviting a teammate, and sign-ins can come from shared 1Password vaults without the agent seeing the passwords. Approvals can go to your iPhone, and every action is written to an audit trail. Security note: it acts inside your signed-in Chrome and can use 1Password vaults and passkeys, so read the README setup and approval sections before installing.
Key features
- Background tabs in a collapsed Agents tab group, using your real Chrome logins
- chrome-relay do runs a whole goal in one command; step commands answer in tens of milliseconds
- Each agent sees and controls only the tabs it opened
- Optional 1Password sign-ins and passkeys typed by the relay, so the agent never sees them
- Optional approvals on an iPhone with Face ID (TestFlight beta)
- Audit trail of everything each agent did
