Solo bookkeeping check
Flags missed invoices, upcoming renewals, and mismatched amounts.
Overview
Solo bookkeeping check is a Dot that watches the billing and contract side of one-person bookkeeping. You schedule three checks: a monthly comparison of work to be billed against invoices already made, a weekly scan of your contract folder and mail for renewals or cancellations due within 60 days, and an alert when an amount agreed in meeting notes differs from a quote or invoice draft. Results come back in your ChatGPT conversation, and nothing is sent, paid, or shared with a client until you approve it. When it asks to send an invoice, it shows the recipient, the amount and the document it came from, how the invoice differs from the last one to that client, and why it thinks the bill was missed.
Goal Prompt
Starting today, run these checks for me. Near the end of each month, compare the work I should bill against the invoices already created and list anything not yet sent. Every Monday morning, read my contracts folder and mail and list contracts with a renewal or cancellation date within 60 days. Whenever an amount in my meeting notes differs from a quote or invoice draft, tell me which document and which number. Send results to this chat, say nothing when nothing applies, and keep going until I stop you. Never send an invoice or an email, contact a client, or pay anything without my approval. Finally, show me the schedules you saved and the folders and mail you will check.
