Overview

Zest is a macOS app that opens a radial menu when you hold Option and Space inside a project. Each slice passes a task to Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, a terminal or a shell command, and slices can be set to work in a separate git worktree so you see the diff before you merge. Teams can define their own slices in a .zest.yml file committed to the repo, and there are preset wheels for Xcode, Node and Python projects. It runs the agents locally with your own logins and needs macOS 26 or later. Agents run on your Mac with your own logins, so review each diff before you merge.
