Overview

SPACE is an open-source sandbox platform from Perplexity that runs agent or user code inside isolated Firecracker microVMs. Your application calls its HTTP API to start a Linux sandbox from a template, run commands in it, collect the output and then keep, pause, suspend or delete it. It is deployed on Kubernetes, supports warm pools and snapshots so new sandboxes skip a cold boot, and includes a wrapper compatible with the E2B Python SDK.
