Overview

OpenUI is an open-source framework from Thesys that lets AI apps and agents reply with interactive interface elements such as charts, tables, forms and dashboards rather than plain text. It renders through the components and design system you already use, including shadcn/ui, Material UI and others, and works alongside SDKs such as Vercel AI SDK, LangChain and CrewAI. A hosted Gateway fixes malformed model output before it reaches users and can switch providers during an outage. A setup command writes guidance into AGENTS.md so coding agents can build with it.
