Overview
CreateOS Sandbox runs agent workloads in Firecracker micro-VMs, each with its own Linux kernel, so code written by an AI model can't reach your host or other users. Agents that write and run code need a safe place to do it that keeps state between steps. You create sandboxes with the TypeScript SDK, the command line or through MCP, which lets an agent launch its own machine with one tool call, run commands and tear it down. Sandboxes can pause to stop CPU billing while keeping memory and disk, talk over a private network and sync their disk to your own S3, MinIO or R2 bucket.
