Overview

Anthropic's search skill, from its enterprise-search plugin, looks for a document, decision or discussion across every source you have connected, such as chat, email, cloud storage and project trackers. It checks which sources are available, splits your question into smaller searches run in parallel, then ranks and removes duplicate results into one list. It helps when you remember a conversation but not where it happened.

  • Search the web with FirecrawlThis skill runs web searches with the Firecrawl CLI, giving back matching excerpts, with full page text when needed. It can limit results to recent news or certain domains and look for datasets, listings, and transcripts. It can also find and call Firecrawl's data tools by category.ResearchWeb ResearchSearch
  • Merge search results into one cited answerThis skill combines results from several search sources into a single answer with duplicates removed. Each claim keeps a citation, confidence depends on how fresh and authoritative the source is, and conflicting information is called out. It changes how it summarizes depending on how many results come back.ResearchEnterprise SearchSynthesis
  • Answer questions about your data, from one number to a full reportAnthropic's analyze skill, from its data plugin, handles questions about data at three sizes: a single number, a deeper look at what is driving a trend, or a formal report for stakeholders. If a data warehouse is connected over MCP it explores the schema, writes and runs SQL and checks odd results; otherwise it asks you to paste results, upload a file or describe the tables. It validates figures before presenting them and adds charts where they help. It works best with a data warehouse connected; without one, you supply the data.ResearchData analysisSQL
  • Build a personal wiki that an LLM maintainsThis skill sets up and maintains a personal knowledge base from your sources, using two folders: raw for untouched source material and wiki for compiled articles. You ask it to ingest a source, answer a question from the wiki, or check the wiki for problems. On ingest it saves the source, then writes or updates articles, an index, and an operation log. Any figure, date, or quotation in an article has to appear word for word in its linked raw files, and a script checks this during the lint pass.ResearchKnowledge baseNotes
  • Write a literature review with FirecrawlThis skill searches Firecrawl's paper index and writes a literature review on a topic. The index leans toward biomedical and life-science work, with PubMed, bioRxiv, and medRxiv as sources, and it also holds arXiv papers in computing, physics, and mathematics. It expands to related papers and checks claims in the paper text. The review covers key papers, themes, debates, trends, and sources.ResearchAcademicLiterature Review
  • Find every company or person that fits a descriptionThis skill uses the Parallel FindAll API to list every company, person, product, or other item that matches a plain-language description. You can ask for extra fields on each match, and every result comes with evidence. It returns a list, not web pages or a narrative report. The Parallel CLI is required.ResearchEntity SearchWeb Research
