Run a company with ai agents
KINDA — AI can help, with a person in the loop.
1 method on the page: 1 agent.
Methods
Run a company with ai agents
Steps
- Install the ready-made specialist bots from the Grok Bot Team instead of building your own.
- Pick one bot as the only one you talk to, so it can coordinate and hand out work.
- Add a decision layer that handles bounded choices, such as picking an option, scoring, or a yes or no.
- Ask a bot to wrap the TypeSafe API as a small plugin exposing four decision tools that only advise and never act.
- Give each worker a live list of who is available now, and have the decision layer choose only from that list, with human review included where approval is required.
- Automate routing first, so that after every state change the decision layer picks who works next.
- Add a research check that accepts, sends back for more checking, or rejects findings before they reach the writer.
- Add a completion check: the agent restates the goal, lists its outputs, and shows evidence and gaps, and nothing counts as done without proof.
- Grant access in five autonomy levels, not all at once: read-only, preparing drafts, reversible changes, external actions with human approval, and money or irreversible actions always with human approval.
- Get a task working once, save it as a skill, then automate it, starting with five routines.
- Package the setup as a folder others can clone, with no secrets or custom code in it.
- Run the finished setup on a task that is able to fail, and measure routing, research escapes, false completions, interruptions, and recovery.
- Extras the author would not install on day one: Stalk Bot, Pipeline Pulse, Signal Prospector, Deal Inspector, Company Docs Q&A, Nightly Audit Engineer.
