Fix a hard bug with several models
Steps
- Prepare a debugging brief that lists how to reproduce the problem plus your guesses about the cause.
- Select several models from the agent's model dropdown so the same brief goes to each.
- Submit the brief. Each model works on its own, in isolation, so they do not interfere with each other.
- Compare the fixes each model proposes.
- Go with the fix backed by the best evidence. Weigh each model's reasoning as well as its final change, and ask it to double-check its own work before you trust the fix.
- The source suggests this for hard bugs, where different models sometimes find different things, and says Cursor will suggest which solution it thinks is best.
