Methods
Prepare for sales discovery calls automatically
Steps
- Add a CRM automation (the source uses Salesforce) that starts the prep a day ahead of every discovery meeting.
- Have that workflow gather what you already know: the SDR's notes, earlier emails, attendees' LinkedIn details and any recorded calls in Gong.
- Send it to Claude to produce a one-page brief covering the buying group, why they may act now, likely pains and five questions shaped for this account (the prompt is listed separately).
- Post the brief where the rep will see it, such as a prep channel in Slack or the CRM activity log.
- The account executive reads it a few minutes before the call and goes in with specific questions.
- Optional: gtmpod's discovery brief prompt is listed separately in our prompts.
- Note: Our own-words summary of gtmpod's playbook, in its order; the original also covers pitfalls. It needs a paid stack (Salesforce, Gong and the Claude API).
