Overview

assistant-ui is an open-source React component and runtime library for building AI chat interfaces and copilots. It ships primitives for threads, composers, tool UIs, and generative UI, plus adapters for Vercel AI SDK, LangGraph, Mastra, and other agent backends. Optional Assistant Cloud adds conversation persistence, run reports, and a dashboard. Also supports React Native and terminal (Ink) chat UIs.
