## Steps

1. Attach the PDF to a fresh chat, ideally one file per conversation so values from different documents stay apart.
2. Name every field you need in plain words, instead of asking for "the data".
3. Specify the output shape, such as JSON keys or table columns, and the format for dates and amounts.
4. Tell the assistant to leave a missing field empty or null rather than guessing.
5. Compare totals and a sample of values with the original; point the assistant to the page and row of any mistake.
6. Move the result into your spreadsheet or script, and keep the prompt for the next document.
